ROH Tiling (Rohullah Rassuli) operates rohullahtiling.co.nz. We handle personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it. It is short because we collect very little.

1. What we collect

Only what you give us, and only when you choose to contact us:

Your name
Phone number and email address
Suburb or job location
Details of the work you are enquiring about, including anything you tell us about your property

We collect this when you submit the form on our contact page, call us, email us, message us on social media, or when we visit your property to quote.

We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking scripts on this website, and we do not set our own cookies. We do not collect payment card details through this website.

2. Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote
To arrange access, schedule work and carry out the job
To invoice you and keep records required by New Zealand tax law
To deal with any warranty or defect claim afterwards

We will not add you to a marketing list or send you promotional email unless you have asked us to.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell or trade your information. We share it only where it is necessary to do the job or run the business:

Suppliers and other trades — for example a plumber or electrician working on the same job, or a tile supplier arranging delivery to your address
Our email and hosting providers — enquiries submitted through the contact form are transmitted by our email delivery provider and stored in our email account
Our accountant and the Inland Revenue Department — for invoicing and tax records
Where the law requires it

4. Third-party services on this website

Two third-party services load when you view this site. Both are provided by Google, and both receive your IP address and browser information as a normal part of serving content:

Google Fonts — supplies the typefaces used across the site
Google Maps — the service-area map embedded on the contact page. This loads only on that page, and Google may set its own cookies through it

Their handling of that data is governed by Google's own privacy policy, not ours. Our website also links to our Google Business Profile and Instagram; once you follow those links you are on their platforms and their privacy policies apply.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 2 years. Records relating to completed jobs — quotes, invoices and job notes — are kept for at least 7 years, as required for tax purposes, and because they may be needed if a workmanship question arises later.

6. Storage and security

Your information is held in our email account and business records, protected by passwords and two-factor authentication where available. Some of these services store data on servers outside New Zealand. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

7. Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Email Rohullah.rassuli@gmail.com or call 021 026 02044 and we will respond within 20 working days, as the Act requires.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

8. Children

This website and our services are directed at property owners and trade clients. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and the date at the top.
